FEB 26TH: 3 SOLO ART EXHIBITS at THE NEGROS MUSEUM

EXHIBITS @ THE NEGROS MUSEUM

February 26th marks the day after the 1986 People Power Revolution and the 1st Day of new-found freedom for the Philippines some 20 years back. In 2011, 3 young artists from Negros will be exhibiting 3 separate solo exhibits on this same day, February 26th – Burog Alvarado, Hilario “Doods” Campos III and Roderick Tijing.

With the 3 exhibits of Alvarado, Campos and Tijing, Negrense artists will again reveal the “Face” (Nawung by Alvarado) of the Invasion (Campos) of the “Dreamscapes 2” (Tijing).

As different as each of their styles, hues and colors, these three artists brought in their recent works to bring to a full circle the face of the new artists in Bacolod and Negros.

The 3 exhibits will open at the 6PM on February 26th at the Museum Lobby, Museum Gallery and the PHINMA Gallery of The Negros Museum. The exhibits will run until March 25, 2011.

Art lovers, enthusiasts, patrons and artists are invited to the opening. RSVP to 09173007742 or 7085080 or email us at negros_museum96@yahoo.com.
